Congratulations to Shannon Affleck, Teresa Burke Elementary's teacher of the year!
Teresa Burke Elementary had its first bingo night January 24th, 2008.Students earned bingo cards by taking A.R. quizzes. Also, bingo cards were sold that evening. Ms. Phillips organized the evening. Student counsel members and other students volunteered to pass out refreshments and cookies to the guests. Teresa Burke's first Bingo Night was a great success! By Jhoana Rodriguez
By Jhoana Rodriguez School Publicity Manager Mrs.Hamlin's kindergarten class was the first class to go into the Teresa Burke Elementary library. Mrs.Hamlin said her students got to select books from the bookshelves. She also said she really liked that the library is colorful and inviting.
