Thomas Jefferson Middle School is committed to meeting the educational needs of all children through a partnership of the school, parents and community. This educational commitment includes the opportunity for every student to be successful, develop a positive self-image, make desicions, and grow academically, socially, psychologically, and physically. This is evident in our continued rise on the state standardized testing scores. We encourage any input that helps us make a better impact on our students educational goals.
The new 2009-2010 school year begins with lots of change. Our world is changing and we as educators, parents and students must be ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead of us. At TJMS our goal is to prepare you to deal with the expected and the unexpected. We embrace the challenge of new students, a new principal and a new vice principal. We are going to continue to strive for the best in everything we do.
We have the ASES program after school that is open to all students who want to be involved with computers, board games, physical activities, homework help, and nutrition. We have plenty of space for any student that would like to be involved.
