Science
The Science Department at Thomas Jefferson teaches the standards as required by the state of California. Seventh grade students receive instruction in Life Science and Eighth grade students receive instruction in Physical Science. Both grades teach Investigation and Experimentation which is incorporated through the completion of a Science Fair Project. This years Science Fair is Feburary 5th, 2011, with Registration begining on Feb. 4th, 2011. All students are required to complete a project. It is never too early to choose a topic for Science Fair and there are many websites on the internet devoted to this. We have included a link that gives a list of many appropriate Science Fair ideas.
