Our Vision

Wasco Union Elementary School District students will receive the benefits of a school counseling program that is standards-based, developmental in nature, preventive in design, and comprehensive in scope.

 

The school counselors provide short-term, developmental, standards-based counseling that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social needs of all students. Counselors are professional student advocates who promote academic achievement, postsecondary education, and self-esteem. School counselors maintain a healthy, positive, and proactive relationship with parents/guardians by maintaining recurrent contact, collaboration, and progress reporting.
